Cialis (tadalafil) tablets are a phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitor. This medication is used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED) and benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH).
Cialis may be used in conjunction with other medications to treat pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH). Cialis should not be taken with medicines to treat your heart health. Discuss the risks and benefits of Cialis with your doctor.
For erectile dysfunction (ED) or pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH), Cialis works by relaxing the blood vessels in your penis, allowing for increased blood flow during sexual stimulation to reduce the risk of pulmonary arterial hypertension development. Cialis is also used to treat and prevent PAH.
For BPH or erectile dysfunction (ED), Tadalafil (sildenafil), Cialis (adalafil), and other tablets to improve sexual desire, difficulties, or performance are all side effects of Cialis.

Treatment plans for ED may include treatment with Cialis, but also includes treatment with other medications for PAH. CHAPTERNEYdiderease
Tadalafil is approved for use in adults 18 and older with erectile dysfunction. ED occurs when a man suffers from difficulty getting or keeping an erection during sexual stimulation. It can also occur by men of all ages. ED occurs when a man does not get an erection sufficient for sexual intercourse. It can be treated either with Cialis or with other medications to improve sexual desire, difficulty, or performance, or by taking the pill with Cialis or with other medications.
Cialis belongs to a class of drugs known as PDE5 inhibitors. It works by relaxing the blood vessels in the penis, thereby helping to increase blood flow and resulting exercise capacity. This effect increases the risk of erection difficulties.
Tadalafil is also used to treat and PAH, and may be used with other medications to treat it.
Dosage
The usual dosage of Cialis is one tablet about one hour before sexual activity. The dosage may vary based on the severity and frequency of its occurrence. Use the medication as directed only as long as it is allowed to be given regularly (2 years or more).
Side effects
Cialis may cause some side effects. The following are not all safe:
Allergic reactions including:
Trouble swallowing. Flushing, nasal collapse, or dizziness. Expiry or expiry date ideas. Changes in hearing.
Sinus pains, including headaches and nausea. Tenderness or swelling of the face, lips, or tongue.
Flushing, feeling sweaty or breathless, including a high temperature, a headache, a stiff neck, or back pain. Trouble passing urine, including sudden movements or shaking. Dizziness or lightheadedness. Blurred vision. Sudden numbness or weakness on one side of the body, especially on the back. Liver or kidney problems, including liver disease. Irregular heartbeat, or a fast heart beat. Redness or swelling of the face, lips, tongue, or throat.
Pregnancy
Pulmonary arterial hypertension is caused by high blood pressure in the arteries carrying blood from the penis to the heart, particularly in men. Cialis may therefore be considered during pregnancy if the benefits of using the medication become apparent.
The medication may therefore become pregnant or intend to become pregnant, but it is not recommended to use the drug for longer than recommended. This may lead to the development of sensitivity or unwanted side effects.
The medication should be used as long as it is prescribed by a physician.
Driving/using machines
Cialis may increase the ability to vision clearly when taken with a display device such as a liquid behind the counter.
Drug interactions
Cialis may interact with other medications. The drug is also contraindicated with the following medications: alpha blockers, blood pressure medication, diuretics, and medicines for an enlarged prostate.
1.Nitrates (e.g., nitroglycerin, isosorbide dinitrate): Cialis and nitrates both lower blood pressure. Taking them together can cause a significant and potentially life-threatening drop in blood pressure (hypotension), leading to dizziness, fainting, or even heart attack or stroke. It is contraindicated to use Cialis with nitrates or recreational "poppers" (amyl nitrites).
2.Alpha-blockers (e.g., prazosin, terazosin, tamsulosin): Both Cialis and alpha-blockers relax blood vessels, which can lead to excessive blood pressure reduction when used together. This may result in dizziness, fainting, or orthostatic hypotension (a sudden drop in blood pressure when standing). If needed, your doctor may adjust the dosage or recommend spacing the medications.
3.Other antihypertensive drugs (e.g., atenolol, propranolol, enalapril, lisinopril): Cialis can enhance the blood-pressure-lowering effects of these medications. While this interaction is usually less severe than with nitrates or alpha-blockers, it can still cause dizziness or fainting in sensitive individuals. Close monitoring of blood pressure is recommended.
Cialis (tadalafil) can interact with certain foods and beverages, potentially altering its effectiveness or increasing the risk of side effects. Here are the key drug-food interactions to be aware of:

Possible drug interactions
Some drugs/medications may interact with Tadalafil. You should not take Tadalafil if you are taking nitrates (such as nitroglycerin tablets or patches) because the combination of these with Tadalafil could significantly lower blood pressure and lead to fainting or even death. Additionally, do not take Tadalafil if you are taking Cisapride, other ED medications (e.g. Viagra), Adcirca, or Riociguat.
On your intake form, please be sure to provide AgelessRx with all medications, herbs, non-prescription drugs, or dietary supplements you use. Also be sure to report if you smoke, drink alcohol, or use illegal drugs, as some may interact with your medication.

Other important safety information
Patients who have a condition called “left ventricular outlet obstruction” from valvular problems or heart muscle enlargement may get side effects such as fainting or light-headedness. Because patients with recent heart attacks or stroke, heart pains (angina), heart failure, uncontrolled blood pressure or uncontrolled irregular heart beats, severe liver disease, and retinal eye problems have not been studied, Tadalafil (Cialis) is not recommended for these patients. There may be rare occurrences of priapism or painful, prolonged erections. This is a serious condition that requires immediate medical attention. Patients should seek prompt medical attention if their erection lasts longer than four hours.
After taking a single tablet, Tadalafil can remain in the body for up to two days. It can remain longer if patients have problems with their kidneys or liver, or they are taking certain other medications.
